Athens, Greece, April 4, 2016. Capital Ship Management Corp. took successful delivery today of the newbuilding vessel M/T Atromitos from Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. in South Korea. The M/T Atromitos is a 299,999 dwt, Crude Oil Tanker. It is one of two super-efficient new sister ships with eco-friendly design that were delivered in 2016.

The M/T 'Alkaios' is a 50,136 dwt, IMO II/III Eco Chemical/Product Tanker. It is the fifth of eight super-efficient new sister ships with eco-friendly design to be delivered between 2015 and 2016.

The Maritime Administration of the Republic of the Marshall Islands commended the Master, Officers and Crew of M/T Agisilaos, managed by Capital Ship Management Corp. ('Capital'), for the successful rescue of 220 migrants on June 22-23, 2015 approximately 110 nautical miles off the southwestern coast of Greece.
