Capital Ship Management Statement on M/T Arionas

Athens, Greece, March 10, 2010. Capital Ship Management Corp. regrets to confirm that three crewmen from the M/T Arionas died while the ship was transiting the English Channel en route to Rotterdam, The Netherlands.  The ship is currently at anchor near Le Havre, France. The first crewman died on March 9, while the other two died on March 10.

The ship and the remainder of the crew are safe and are in no danger. The 183 meter-long tank ship was en route from Libya to The Netherlands with a cargo of nearly 28,000 MT of brega condensate.

Capital Ship Management manages the Marshall Islands-flagged M/T Arionas, and is cooperating with French authorities in the investigation.

The cause of these deaths has not yet been established, but the rest of the crew is unaffected.

Capital Ship Management expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the stricken crewmen.
